Muscle aches can affect both children and adults.
Causes of Muscle Pain :
  •  overexertion injury
  • overuse of the muscle during physical activity muscle injury while doing physically demanding work or exercise.
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Fascial infections, such as the flu, polio, or bacterial infections, produce inflammation in muscular connective tissues, causing myofascial pain syndrome.
  • Lupus, dermatomyositis, and polymyositis are examples of autoimmune diseases.
  • Thyroid disorders
  • Hypokalemia.

Symptoms of Muscle Pains

The following are symptoms of muscle pain.

Pains shooting through the body


Muscle tenseness

Stitches and needles

A sweltering sensation

A throbbing pain

When doing particular actions, facing difficulty or discomfort.


Treatment of Muscle Pain
  • Stretch your muscles before and after you do any physical exercise.
  • Warm up and cool down for around 5 minutes before and after each exercise session.
  • Keep yourself hydrated, especially on active days.
  • Regular exercise will aid in the promotion of optimal muscular tone.
  • If you work at a desk or in a setting that puts you at risk for muscle strain or stress, get up and stretch frequently.
  • If the symptoms still prevail consult your doctor for the same.
  •  Physiotherapy works wonders in any type of muscle pain.
